Nancy L. Strittmatter, 56, Ebensburg, died Sunday. She was born in Sankertown, daughter of the late George "Red" and Evelyn (Ebig) Reffner. Surviving are five children: Frank, Melaney Strittmatter-Costa, Aimee, Eddie and Tom; 10 grandchildren; and two sisters: Darlene and Peg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; and a brother, Greg Conrad. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Monsignor Timothy Swope as celebrant. Committal will be in the church cemetery.
