Josh Russo had three hits and two RBIs, and winning pitcher Jonah Diehl also knocked in a pair of runs as McMullen Furniture stayed alive in the Altoona Teener Minor tournament by knocking out Eldorado Kiwanis, 13-3, at Seitz Field.
McMullen is scheduled to face the winner of Friday's late game between AAOC and Gingrich Insurance. The Mirror did not receive a report on that contest.

Club Altoona wins
PHILIPSBURG - Club Altoona opened up play at the VFW 13-14-year-old state tournament with a 6-5 extra-innings win over Bellefonte Friday afternoon in the double-elimination event.
Catcher Cumming scored from third with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth when a throw home to get him was wild. Teammate John Michael Knepp drove in two runs to lead the offense. Altoona got two hits each from Cullen Gahagan, Jacob Mellot and Logan McGeary. Bubba Johnson worked two-plus innings in relief for the win.
