Emma M. Zeughardt, 87, Lackawanna, N.Y., formerly of Ashville, died Thursday. She was born in Loretto, daughter of Gilbert and Kathleen (Noel) Cox. Surviving are four children: William, Karen, Richard and Warren; two grandchildren; and five sisters: Anna Marie Risban, Ruth Hincherick, Mary Grace Noel, Vera Simanski and Edna Becker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; and three siblings: Bertha Dibble, George and James. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Ashville.
