Helen E. Emery, 100, formerly of Duncansville and Hollidaysburg, died Tuesday afternoon at Golden LivingCenter-Hillview.
She was born in Smock, daughter of William and Julia (Sabo) Persely. She married Paul Emery on Nov. 24, 1934, and he died Jan. 10, 1974.

Surviving are a daughter, Eleanor Schneider and husband, Vincent, of Hollidaysburg; two granddaughters: Monica Showalter and husband, Craig, and Marsha Schneider; three great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and a brother, Harry in Ohio.
Helen had been employed as a manager for the G.C. Murphy's Department Store, Pittsburgh.
A private service will be held at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, by Father Anthony J. Legarski. Committal will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery, McKees Rocks.
