Vivian M. Dively, 83, East Freedom, died Friday at her home.
She was born in East Freedom, daughter of Albert and Mary (Dodson) Glass. She married Joseph G. Dively on July 14, 1947, in Newry, and he died May 8, 2001, after 53 years of marriage.
Surviving are a son, Joseph S. of East Freedom; four grandchildren: Joseph A. and wife, Ashli, Michael, Kristen Gebhart and husband, Linford, and Angela; and two great-grandchildren: Precious Ava Grace and Hazen Grant Dively.
Vivian retired from Veeder-Root Co. after 20 years of service on the assembly line. Prior to that, she had worked at Klevan's Department Store, Claysburg, for 15 years as well as Leighty's Farm Market, Newry, and Riverside Market. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Newry.
Vivian enjoyed crafts, crocheting and sewing.
At Vivian's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
