Caroline Ella "Dolly" Tregoning, 93, Summerville, passed away Thursday.
She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Arnold and Myra (Detwiler) Johnston. She married Robert E. Tregoning on May 11, 1940.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Tregoning Radloff of Angola, Ind.; two sons: George of Summerville and Mark of Shippenville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Helene Heeter of Hollidaysburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; six brothers: Woodrow, Kenneth, James, Calvin and Bernard Johnston and an infant brother; and four sisters: Josephine Hainley, Erdine Snare, Peggy Royer and an infant sister.
Dolly was a 1936 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m., her son-in-law, the Rev. Mark Radloff, officiating. Interment will follow at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
