Kudos to PA Cleanways of Blair County, the Blair County Conservation District, the Intermunicipal Relations Committee and the Blair County Department of Solid Waste and Recycling for the tire and electronics recycling collection day held on June 30 at the People's Natural Gas Field parking lot. The event was very well-organized. Traffic flowed smoothly, and those who worked unloading items at the event were friendly, fast and efficient.
Events like these are happening more frequently in the county to the advantage of all of the residents.
