Kevin W. Claycomb, 52, Duncansville, passed away Sunday at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
He was born in Roaring Spring, son of Nancy (Burket) Claycomb and the late R. Schubert Claycomb. He married Michele Riley on July 4, 1998, in Duncansville.
Surviving are his wife; his mother; a son, Jason Dodson; a daughter, Brandi Claycomb; three stepdaughters: Stephanie (John) McConnell, Ashley (Brett) Dodson and Lyndsay Steiner; three very special granddaughters: Savanah, Mattisynn and Jaylynn McConnell; and Pappy's two little buddies: Brayden McConnell and Madox Delozier.
Also surviving are two brothers: Doug (Diane) and Jeff (Linda); and four sisters: Cindy (Rodney) Dively, Angel (Roy) Claar and Jamie and Kasie Claycomb.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Gavin, Michael and Christopher.
Kevin was a 1978 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He owned and operated his own business, K.C. Cable, and attended Hicks Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville.
Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and motorcycling. He also enjoyed being a grandfather and was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and grandfather.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, and 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Hicks Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville, the Rev. Rich Morris officiating. Interment will be at St. Mark's Cemetery, King.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the family or the funeral home.
