Marlin "Bub" H. Wright, 61, of Imler went to be with the Lord, unexpectedly, due to heart failure Saturday at Conemaugh Hospital.
He was born in Imler, son of the late Harvey and Helen (Markle) Wright.
He was the husband of Delores (Oldham) Wright, whom he married on Sept. 25, 1986.

He is survived by his brothers: Arlin, husband of Joyce Wright, of Imler and Rickie Wright of Imler; a sister, Thelma Clark of Imler; parents-in-law, Russell and Shirley Oldham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jarod Wright, on Nov. 22, 2009; and sisters, Linda Glass, Shirley Cox and infant Karen Wright.
Marlin was a 1968 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School.
He worked as a truck driver, a logger and Kimmel Township supervisor.
Marlin was a member of the 320 Bedford Masonic Lodge and the Shawnee Forest 167 Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
He was a member of the Trinity Reform Church in Osterburg.
Marlin enjoyed camping, volunteering for different organizations and adored his dog, Carrie.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. today with a Masonic service at 7 p.m., and on Tuesday, July 3, from 1 p.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Pastor Charlie Miller officiating, at the Trinity Reform Church in Osterburg.
Arrangements are by the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home, Alum Bank.
Interment will be at Imler Valley Cemetery.
