Betty May Capouellez, 73, Altoona, died Tuesday at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Lilly, daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Chislow) Zurilla.

Surviving are seven children: Randy, John Jr. (Vickie) and Debbie Raichle (Shelley), all of Altoona, Kim Capouellez (Joe) of New Port Richey, Fla., Tammy Kirsch (Wayne) of Cresson and David and Michael, both of Altoona; three grandchildren: Tina, Crystal and Kali; great-grandchildren: Alyssa and Brittany Bartley and soon-to-be-born Brayden Bartley; and two siblings: Frances Swofford (Dwayne) of Maysville, Mo., and Robert Chislow (Sue) of Cresson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John P., on Nov. 30, 1994.
Betty retired from C-Cor Electronics, Altoona. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren and her dog, Kimmie, and she also enjoyed the camp, hunting, flowers and traveling.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at St. Francis Xavier Church by the Rev. Leo F. Arnone. Entombment will be in the church mausoleum.
