Evelyn Cooper Thompson, 81, Plantation, Fla., died March 24, 2012, at Westside Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Juniata, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Elizabeth (Rothberg) Titus. She married Herbert Cooper, and he preceded her in death in 1950.
Surviving are four nieces and a nephew: Marlene Caswell of Mechanicsburg, Mona Hancock (Jack) of Wetumpka, Ala., Kay Goodfellow of Bedford, Nancy Couples (Richard) of Altoona and Robert Martin (Mary) of Altoona; numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a special friend, Joe Bourque.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.
Evelyn retired from Bell Telephone after 50 years of service and was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no service.
