William R. Shaw, 75, Altoona, died early Monday morning at Altoona Regional.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Luther and Virginia (Morehead) Shaw. He married Patricia D. (Robley) Flory on Oct. 12, 1980, in Florida.
Surviving are his wife; a son, William R. Jr. in Florida; a daughter, Susan Phillips in Florida; two stepsons: John and Robert Flory, both of Altoona; five grandchildren; and three siblings: Robert in Georgia, Nancy Huntley in Florida and Carolyn Cliber in Michigan.
William was a 1955 graduate of Altoona High School. He retired as a pressroom supervisor from The Miami Herald.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no funeral service.
