Yvonne L. "Mom-Mom" Conrad, 80, Altoona, died Saturday morning at Altoona Regional after an extended illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Jesse and Coral (Gibney) Wilson. She married Wm. Merrill Conrad on Sept. 8, 1962, in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death July 1, 1995.
Surviving are three children: William M. II (Dina), Todd A. (Beth Keller) and Beth A. (Steve) Neeley II, all of Altoona; four grandchildren: Samantha Wills, William III and Benjamin Conrad and Salena Neeley; three sisters: Janet Wilson, with whom she resided, Shirley Palazzi and Dorothy Russell.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nikita Conrad; three brothers: Robert, Richard and Paul; and two sisters: Edna Wilson and Kathryn Hammer.
Yvonne was a graduate of Altoona High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Wehnwood United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Altoona Chapter 290, and served on the election board for Altoona High School.
Yvonne enjoyed square dancing, baking, cooking and spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, with the Rev. Towanda Acey officiating.
Interment will be in Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
