Dorothy A. Nolan, 84, of Altoona died Tuesday afternoon at The Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg. She was born in Blair County, daughter of John B. and Pearl (Imler) Tremmel. She married James W. Nolan Sr. He preceded her in death. Surviving are five children: James W. "Smokey" Jr. of Mifflintown, William D., Joseph E., Allen S. and Katherine A. Mosey, all of Altoona; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John. There will be no viewing or funeral services. Arrangements are by Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood.
