Charles S. Chappell, 81, Portage, passed away Thursday at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg. He was born in Portage, son of the late Rubin and Agnes (Inman) Chappell. Surviving are a sister, Louise Goslin; numerous nieces and nephews; and friend, Mike Nagy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores; a brother, Rubin J.; and a sister, Dorothy Crum. At the request of the family, the funeral service and burial will be private. Arrangements are by Serenko-Claar Funeral Home PC, Portage.
