Ardist R. Miller, 67, of Altoona died Saturday in Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late James Alton and Mabel (Lockard) Walker. She was twice married, first to Ronald McDonald and then to Dwayne A. "Tim" Miller, both preceded her in death.
She is survived by four sons: Gregg McDonald of Harrisburg, Ronald McDonald and wife, Vivian, Jamie McDonald and wife, Roxanne, and Kevin McDonald and wife, Mary, all of Altoona; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters: Linda Badorrek and husband, Harry, of Altoona and Madline Plummer of Ohio; and a brother, Jim Walker and wife, Dawna, of Altoona.

She was a member of the Altoona Restoration Church of God.
She had attended Altoona School of Commerce for business management.
Ardist was employed by the Newburg Fire Company and Tritex Sportswear.
She was a charter member and current treasurer of Blair County Fire Police and United Volunteer Fire Company.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, where a Blair County Fire Police Memorial Service will be held, followed by a 7 p.m. funeral service, Pastor Kim G. Swindell officiating. Interment will be at Alto Reste Park.
