Mary S. Bartlebaugh, 91, of Grazierville died Saturday at Colonial Courtyard, Tyrone.
She was born in Bedford, daughter of Roy W. and Sarah E. (Hetrick) Hampton. On Oct. 18, 1941, in Grazierville, she married Kenneth R. Bartlebaugh Sr. He died on July 13, 1986.
Surviving are two daughters: Janet Malliband of Huntingdon and Sarah "Cookie" Houser and husband, Ray, of Warriors Mark; a son, Kenneth R. Jr., and wife, Diana, of Tipton; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Martha Hampton of Grazierville and Mildred Bezilla of Kirtland, Ohio; and a brother, Wilson Hampton of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Marian Wilson and Treva Bridges; and three brothers: Lester, Roy and Walter Hampton.
She was a member of the Tyrone Alliance Church and the Grazierville Gang.
Mary was devoted to and loved her family. She was an avid gardener and was especially proud of her beautiful flowers.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone. A celebration of the life of Mary will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday June 19, 2012, at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Carl Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow at Blair Memorial Park.
