Athlete of the week achievement: Blattenberger went 4-for-5 and scored two runs and drove in one in a 14-1 victory over Cranberry in the first round of the PIAA Class AA playoffs, then went 2-for-3 with two home runs and three RBIs in a 4-2 win over Deer Lakes in the quarterfinals.

Season update: Blattenberger is batting .525 and has seven home runs, 35 RBIs, 38 hits, eight doubles and one triple.
