Throughout my lifetime I have watched the morals of our country steadily decline. I am a Christian and like most Christians did nothing to stop prayer and Bible reading being taken out of our schools.
Likewise, when the Ten Commandments were outlawed on many of our public buildings and the display of a Nativity was banned in public places, I thought: "I am only one person. What can I do?" I am disgusted with all the display of sex, violence and homosexual relationships on our televisions, movies and even in advertising.
When the men holding the two highest offices in our great country, Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama, publicly supported gay marriage, I was heartsick.
Both of these men profess Christianity. Any person who reads and follows the teachings of the Bible knows that the practice of homosexuality is referred to as an abomination.
Marriage is between one man and one woman.
I challenge my brothers and sisters in Christ to take a stand against the further demoralization of our country and our world. We are not a minority and by banding together, we can make a difference.
