Athlete of the week achievement: Burge tossed a no-hitter, striking out 11 batters, and went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a District 6-AA quarterfinal victory over Marion Center on Monday. She pitched a complete game, giving up just one run on three hits, and went 2-for-3 in a semifinal victory over Mount Union on Thursday.
Season update: Burge was 18-4 with a 1.46 ERA and batted .371 with two home runs and 21 RBIs in the regular season. In the playoffs, Burge is 3-0 with a 0.38 ERA with three complete games and is batting .667 with four RBIs.
