Paul Neff Davis, 94, passed away Thursday in Mountain Home, Ark.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Amos and Mary (Sickles) Davis. He married Lois E. Schnably on July 20, 1940, in Winchester, Va.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Carol of Mountain Home, Ark.; five grandchildren: Don (Penny) Haldeman of Goose Creek, S.C., Genevieve (Byron) Haldeman of San Jose, Calif., Cindy Laster of Blue Springs, Mo., James Howry of Snellville, Ga., and Susan Howry of Omaha, Neb.; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by eight siblings and a daughter, JoAnne Gumm.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Paul served in the Pacific Theater with the 125th Seabee Battalion during WWII. He had lived in Mountain Home, Ark., since 2006, moving from Martinsburg. He was a member of First Christian Church.
Services will be private. Memorials may be made to the USO.
