SAXTON - Tussey Mountain scored eight times in its last two at-bats to earn a District 5 Class A baseball quarterfinal game at second-seeded Southern Fulton by beating visiting Shade, 10-6, on Tuesday.
Daniel Taylor and Michael Runk had two hits apiece for the Titans.
Shade had a 4-0 lead through 1 innings, but Taylor came on to pitch for Tussey, and he and eventual winning pitcher Presley Swope held the Panthers to two runs the rest of the way. Three Titan pitchers only gave up six hits.
Tussey was the 5-A runner-up in 2011.

Adams scores winning run
BELLWOOD - Dylan Adams scored the winning run when Cumming Motors was unable to turn Danny Kirwin's grounder to second into an inning-ending double play to give Reliance Bank its second win in as many games this season, 10-9, at Drost Field in an Area 4 VFW 15-16 year-old game.
Alex Martynuska had two hits for Reliance. Mason McGinnis had two hits, and Nick Hoenstine, Zack Croft and Jay Stern drove in two runs apiece for Cumming.

Civics picks up win
Josh DeGol had four hits and drove in two runs, while Troy Livermore and Ethan Blackie each posted two doubles and two RBIs as Juniata Civics beat C&G Savings, 14-12, late Monday in an Altoona Teener Major League game.
Jimmy Marquette had three hits, a double and two RBIs for the winners.
