Lions honored
PITTSBURGH - Two Penn State Altoona baseball seniors were honored on Tuesday when the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference released its 2012 Baseball All-Conference Team.
Center fielder Jimmy Baum and first baseman Cord Heine were both named to the First Team of the All-Conference squad.
Baum finished the season second in the AMCC in batting average, hitting .429.

Chestnut Ridge's Emily Finnegan and Bedford's Carrie Baker should have been listed as the top seeds in the District 5 girl discus and pole vault, respectively.
