LEADING OFF: All of Erie's eight hits went for extra bases Friday. The SeaWolves had five doubles and three home runs to account for all of their hits in the game.
SAFE AT FIRST: The Curve have now lost their last three games away from Peoples Natural Gas Field, and their 4-12 road record is the worst in the Eastern League.
STEALING SECOND: There has only been one inning in the first two games of the series (the third inning of Friday's game) in which the Curve have scored a run and Erie hasn't.
ROUNDING THIRD: RHP Brandon Cumpton will take the mound for the Curve tonight. Cumpton has allowed three runs or less in his last four starts and has picked up a win in each outing.
HEADING HOME: Cumpton will be opposed by Erie RHP James Avery. In his last outing against the Curve, Avery pitched a complete game shutout and struck out eight on May 3.
