EVERETT - Maria Snyder's three victories propelled the Northern Bedford girls to a 98-42 win over Everett and a 102-34 victory over Tussey Mountain on Thursday in high school track and field action.
Snyder won the 800, 1600 and 3200 runs for the Lady Panthers, who finished the dual meet season at 11-0. Leah Hershberger won the 200 dash and triple jump.
Allyson Gearhart won both hurdles, and Carlee Bussard took the shot put and discus for the Tussey girls, who also fell to Everett, 69-55. Everett also lost to Mount Union, 77-67.
The Northern boys finished the season at 9-2 after beating Tussey, 112-35, and Everett, 111-31. Everett topped Tussey, 71-61, but fell to Mount Union, 87-57.
Northern's Trenton Barnes won the 100 and 200 dashes, Tanner Russell won the 400 and 800 runs, and Blake Over took the 110 hurdles and triple jump.

Tigers sweep Clearfield
HOLLIDAYSBURG - Hollidaysburg swept Clearfield with the boys winning, 123-27, and the girls prevailing, 118-31.
Michele Muir won both hurdles for the Lady Tigers, Maddy Aungst won the 100 and 200 dashes, and Emily Ansley triumphed in the 1600 and 3200 runs.
Bryce England won the 1600 and 3200 runs for Williamsburg, which didn't compete as a team.
