Jonathan David Yorke, 30, Huntingdon, formerly of Woodbury, died unexpectedly Sunday at Susquehanna Health Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
He was born in State College, son of Peter and Karen (Ulmer) Yorke. He married Tara Fitzsimmons on May 7, 2011, in Alexandria, the Rev. Dr. Robert W. Neff officiating.
Surviving are his parents of Woodbury; his wife; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Ulmer of Bellefonte; his paternal grandmother, Freeda Yorke of Williamsport; three brothers: James and wife, Lindsey, of New Enterprise, Jared and wife, Katie, of Greencastle and Josiah of Woodbury; and two nieces: Jaylin and Lylah Yorke of New Enterprise.

Jon was a graduate of Northern Bedford County School District and a graduate of Penn State University with a B.S. in business. He was currently studying to attain his CPA license, and he was employed as an accountant by Leap & Associates, Duncansville. He attended Stone Church of the Brethren, Huntingdon.
Jon enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, woodworking and farming.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, and 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Stone Church of the Brethren, 1623 Moore St., Huntingdon, the Revs. Dale W. and Christy L. Dowdy officiating. Interment will be in Russellville Reformed Cemetery, Hopewell Township, James Creek.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in remembrance of Jonathan D. Yorke may be made to Tara Yorke, Jon Yorke Memorial Fund, c/o Kish Bank, 9471 William Penn Highway, Huntingdon, PA 16652.
