Altoona juniors split
The Altoona junior high softball team fell to 3-11-1 in a 7-6 loss to Bellefonte at Logan Elementary School.
Cassie Hall had two hits and two RBIs for the Lady Lions, who also got two hits from Bethany Kudlawiec.
Altoona won the B game, 2-0, behind a one-hitter from Lindsey Fasolo. She struck out eight as the team improved to 2-12. Teammate Riley Duey had an RBI double.
