Jextin Pugh scored the game- winning run to lift Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic over Central Cambria, 3-2, after the Red Devils made a throwing error on an attempted double play in the bottom of the 14th inning in a high school baseball game Tuesday at Vets Field.
Jared Keller had a pair of doubles, a triple and an RBI for the Marauders, and Pugh went 2-for-3.
Dan Bowman and Pugh both pitched nine innings, the maximum allowed for high school pitchers, and allowed two runs each. Bowman struck out eight, and Pugh punched out 12.
Justin Monito and Dylan Bowers were the only Red Devils with more than one hit.
