FLINTON - Paige Pearson, Caitlin England and Carly England each collected two hits to help Williamsburg win, 5-4, at Glendale in high school softball Thursday.
It was the first win of the year for Williamsburg.
Winning pitcher Tori Murtiff scattered five hits over seven innings, struck out 10 and walked just two. Glendale got a home run and two RBIs from Kelli McGarvey. Teammate Cassie Spangle also drove in two runs, while Katelyn Matthews added two hits.
