James Mardula won the long and triple jump. Garrett Sutton won both the 1600 and 3200 meter races, and Mark Stiffler won the shot put and javelin.

CRESSON - Carly Petney and Arlee Simendinger both two individual events and played a role on two winning relay teams as Penn Cambria won its season-opener, 80-70 over Portage in high school girls track and field.
Petney won the 200 dash and 100 hurdles, and also participated on Penn Cambria's 400 relay and 1600 relay teams. Simendinger won the 1600 and 3200 runs, and also ran a leg on the winning 1600 and 3200 relay squads.
Portage got three individual victories from Emily Chobany (100 dash, 400 dash, javelin) and two wins from Olivia McCabe (high jump, triple jump).
