PINECROFT - Steve Seltzer has expanded his business and said he may not be done growing.
Steve Seltzer Powersports, formerly known as Steve Seltzer Honda, has completed the purchase of the Kawasaki and KYMCO franchises from Gene Malone, owner of Keystone Kawasaki Yamaha KYMCO, Duncansville.
Seltzer said Kawasaki and KYMCO are good additions to his business.

"One reason we picked up Kawasaki is that it fits in so well with the line of the Honda products we sell. They have motorcycles and ATVs in sizes that Honda doesn't make. Kawasaki and Honda play well together," Seltzer said. "KYMCO is something we picked up to give us price ranges and products Honda didn't offer. It gives us more of a variety of scooters and prices."
The purchase also includes the inventory of parts, tools and customer database, Seltzer said.
Malone, who had owned the business for 19 years, said Seltzer had expressed interest in the franchises.
"Steve bought from me about $1.5 million worth of Kawasaki and KYMCO inventory to add to his business. He will have a nice dealership," Malone said.
Seltzer said he is excited about what he calls a "consolidation."
"We now have more products to sell to people when they walk in the door," Seltzer said. "Since Jan. 25, we've been busy integrating the inventory and getting ourselves ready for the spring selling season."
Seltzer has added two new employees and expects to add two more.
He said he isn't done growing the business he moved to Sabbath Rest Road near the Pinecroft interchange of Interstate 99 in 2006.
"You will most likely see some more things coming down the road. We are pursuing some other lines to further build this business," Seltzer said.
Meanwhile, Malone said for the present time he will retain the Yamaha part of his business but plans to change the name to Keystone Motorized Toy Store and sell parts and accessories for the aftermarket.
