Athlete of the week achievement: Dorminy threw the go-ahead touchdown pass to Steve Franco and kicked what turned out to be the game-winning extra point in Tyrone's 20-19 Class AA semifinal victory over Aliquippa Saturday. Dorminy also rushed for 10 yards and caught one pass for 23 yards.
Season update: Dorminy has 76 rushes for 360 yards and three touchdowns. He's caught 23 passes for 338 yards and two touchdowns. He has complied 78 points, 27 extra points and a field goal.
Coach Franco's quote: "J.D. is one of the most valuable players on our team, in a team that has several. He isn't very big, but he plays very big. He plays like he's 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds. He's a great competitor, and that's his biggest strength. The bigger the game, the better he plays.
