Behind double wins from Connor Hallinan, Aaron Cummings and Kyle Heasly, the Altoona Area High School boys swimming team beat Richland, 97-71, Monday at the AAHS pool.
Hallinan won the 100 free and the 50 freestyle. Cummings won the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke, and Heasly won the 200 and 500 freestyle. The Lions improved to 8-4.
The Altoona girls beat Richland, 102-61. Katie Taylor won the 500 freestyle and the 200 freestyle, and Brianna Geist won the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle.

HOLLIDAYSBURG - Mace Long broke two pool records, but the Hollidaysburg boys team lost its first meet, falling to State College, 129-41. Long won the 100 butterfly with a time of 54.45, which was also a school record. Long broke a pool record in the 100 backstroke with a 55.85.
The Hollidaysburg girls fell to State College, 128-42.
