Pressel powers Panthers past Mount Union

LOYSBURG - Tayler Pressel scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Northern Bedford as the Black Panthers edged Mount Union, 58-54, in high school boys basketball on Thursday.

Northern, which also received 11 points from Zach Pressel and 10 from Kyler Diehl, moved to 12-5.

A.J. Leahey and Devin Lawhead scored 16 points apiece for the Panthers (10-5), who also got 14 from Nathan Keagy and 11 from Joel Myers.

Bedford dropped to 1-15, despite a game-high 22 points from Tyler Black.
