Return to Romance set for Feb. 11

Event will benefit MS?Society

The Keystone Branch of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will host the third annual Return to Romance at 6 p.m. Feb. 11 at The Calvin House Duncansville.

At the event, the John Carothers Spirit Award will be presented to Diane Madden. Diane exemplifies a person giving of her time and talent for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for more than 23 years.

Madden and her family have participated and volunteered for the Walk MS & Bike MS events. She has also volunteered at the National MS Society's Keystone Branch Office and has always been part of the Anne E. Barnes Memorial Golf Tournament.

Gina Baird, co-chairwoman of the event, said, "We are honored to have Diane except this award for all that she continues to do to help one day create a world free of MS.''

Tickets are $100 per person or $175 per couple. Tables of eight also are available. The event features hors d'oeuvres, dinner, dancing to music by Kent Martin and Boomerang DJ, a silent auction and more.

Dress is black-tie optional.

This year's event will be emceed by Carolyn Donald-son.

The theme is A "Night of White Diamonds," which is sponsored by Kranich's Jewelers. One lucky person will have the opportunity to win a half-karat diamond.
