The Motion Dance Competition/Convention will occur again February 4-5, 2012 at The Blair County Convention Center. Ages for applicants are 7-18 for all workshop classes. Class times are: Saturday, February 4, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm followed with the Competition beginning at 4:00 pm; and
Sunday, February 5, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm. Scholarships will be awarded following the end of classes. Every age level will receive five full scholarships to the next year's convention!
There are other cities available to attend.

Inattendance this year will be:
Michele Olivia - master teacher from Rome, Italy and he has his professional company Pantarei. Michele danced for Gerri Halliwell and also Kylie Minogue. In addition, Michele teaches in NYC at Broadway Dance Center.
Mishay Petronelli - faculty member at Broadway Dance Center and company member of Broadway Underground.
Mitchel Federan - performer with many Broadway credits including: The Boy From Oz and Music Man; he also appears on All My Children as a returning character.
Mia Price - Radio City Rockette with Broadway credits: Oklahoma! Frogs (with Nathan Lane) and Spamalot, Chicago.
After the competition, there is a professional dance performance given free to all students and their family. The Motion Dance Competition/Convention is a great opportunity for all students to observe and learn worldwide professional techniques and styles without traveling out of town and incurring big city hotel and travel expenses.
