Liz Boyles is living proof of her own philosophy - you never know until you try.
Boyles wrote a question to USA Weekend, but never thought that it would be answered. Now, the publication that she reads every weekend will feature her name and question in its "Who's News" section.
"I was not expecting to hear anything," Boyles, 50, of Altoona, said. "I'm sure other people from all over the country write, so I wasn't really expecting to get an answer."
Boyles asked: "I was excited to see that Starz picked up the recent 'Torchwood: Miracle Day' series. Will it continue next season?"
She enjoyed watching the first season of the sci-fi series, which originated on BBC.
"It was a really strong story, and the characters are really great," Boyles said.
The Weekender didn't specify whether or not a new season of the show will air, but the Starz website lists that the show will return to its lineup at midnight on Dec. 28.
