Pamela was a 1980 graduate of Sunrise School in Monroeville. She attended the summer day camp program yearly, Camp Chipewee, at Gateway High School. She was also a member of the Blue Flames majorette group and Girl Scouts in Monroeville. After graduation, she and her family relocated to Hollidaysburg, where she was a member of The Arc of Blair County. She enjoyed bowling, guitar lessons, dances and other events with the group.
She loved going to the beach and the movies, watching soap operas, eating out and going to the hair salon.
Pamela's incredible dignity in enduring her handicap and illnesses, facing two heart surgeries as a child and another major surgery requiring a three-month stay at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, never complaining and only being a loving person, showed her remarkable strength and courage. She will be greatly missed and held in the hearts forever of her family and all who knew her.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery (www.thegoodfuneralhomeinc.com), the Rev. David Haydu of St. John's Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg, officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
