Years involved with FFA: 2
Amount of time spent on FFA: I spend time at my barn every day tending to my FFA projects. We also spend several days a week in class working on or studying for events across the state.
FFA projects: Breeding swine and raising pigs for shows at fairs.
Favorite FFA memory: FFA Activities Week in June at Penn State University.
FFA accomplishments: Placing 16th out of 84 in livestock judging at FFA Activities Week at Penn State and for being a team member on the 19th place team in the KILE Stockman's Contest. I also have served as chapter historian and I am currently serving as chapter student adviser.
How has FFA prepared you for your future aspirations: I am interested in pursuing a college degree in agriculture. FFA has improved my agricultural knowledge and has helped me to become a better leader.
Special thanks: I would like to thank my parents for all the help they have given me with my projects, my FFA adviser, Mr. Myers, for giving me special opportunities and my fellow chapter members for the fun and special times we've had.
Quote: "FFA ... is an organization that provides students with agricultural and personal opportunities. Each club has members with leadership skills to guide the chapter and help it achieve its goals."
