Harry Hemperly Longenecker Sr., 94, Alexandria, died Saturday. He was born in Altoona, son of Harry III and Cora Longenecker. Surviving are his wife, Edwina L. (Knox) Moore; five children: Harry Jr., Bonnie Neil, Janet Karlie, Jim and Greg; four stepchildren: Bill Bryant, Sylvia Malsaski, Carol Whaley and Rick Moore; and 23 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Johnson; and six siblings: Helen, Hazel, Harold, Herb, Phyllis and Lindy. Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service today, Nov. 16, 2011, at Cutright Funeral Homes, Juniata Valley Chapel, Alexandria.
