Janice Carol Rickard, 68, of Flinton died Friday. She was born in Flinton, daughter of the late William Sr. and Lillian (Davis) Nelson. Surviving are children Elisabeth Leyo, Rebecca Rickard, Barbara McLaughlin and William McLaughlin; 11 grandchildren; and three sisters: June Marie Gaeto, Betty Ione Heberlig and Alice Elaine Kutch. She was preceded in death by husbands: W. Thomas McLaughlin and Gordon Dale Rickard. Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service today at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Irvona. Interment will be in the Spangle Cemetery, Coalport.
