Korey Replogle and Dylan Mountain finished less than a second a part to take first and second place, respectively, at the Blair/Huntingdon County Day cross country meet at Logan Elementary Monday.
Replogle defeated Mountain by .65 seconds. Both finished in 16:54. Patrick Reade of Altoona took third place with a time of 17:28.
Bishop Guilfoyle's Jared Keller took fourth overall with a time of 17:48. Williamsburg's Bryce England was the Blue Pirates top finisher, taking sixth with a time of 17:57. Central's Mark Brumbaugh took 13th in 18:37, while Hollidaysburg's Eric Jennings placed 14th in 18:40.
Tyrone's top finisher was William Sessamen, who took 19th with a time of 18:56, and Bellwood-Antis' Isaac Mills finished 23rd in 19:19. Juniata Valley's top runner was Jed Reed, who took 43rd.
In the girls race, Hollidaysburg's Lauren Pheasant placed first overall with a time of 21:56.
Altoona's Morgan Pensyl and Brianna Geist took second and third respectively. Pensyl's time was 22:08, and Geist's time was 22:28.
Kristina Slobodnick of Bishop Guilfoyle placed fourth with a time of 22:35. Juniata Valley's Brittany Kurtz finished fifth in 22:44. Alyssa Brisbin of Tyrone finished 10th, and Lindsey Smith of Central finished 12th. April Taylor was Bellwood-Antis's top finisher, taking 18th.
