Athlete of the week achievement: Snyder won the District 5 Class A singles tennis championship.

Season update: Snyder, who plays as an independent because NBC does not have a tennis team, went 3-0 in the tournament.

Coach Brian Denis' quote: "She has worked exteremly hard in the last year. [Snyder] played last year in the District 5 tournament and lost in the semifinals, and she made it her goal from that day on to win the District 5 championship. She has dedicated her life to getting better through many tennis lessons, and has put in a lot of time, and has been rewarded."
