Practice pays off for Kirsch

Athlete of the week achievement: Kirsch won the District 6 golf title at Scotch Valley Country Club last week by shooting a 3-over-par 75 and an even-par 72.

Season update: Kirsch has been the medalist four times for the Red Devils this season.

Coach Tom Aurandt's quote: "Max performed very well. We played two days at Scotch Valley. The first day it was calm, the second day it was raining all day. For Max to score on both days as he did says a lot about his play. I'm very happy for him. He is very deserving of this honor. He has put in hours and hours of practice. His hard work has paid off."
