UNIVERSITY PARK -- The Philipsburg-Osceola softball team reigns as the PIAA Class AA softball champion.
P-O defeated Brandywine Heights, 1-0, Friday before a standing-room crowd at Beard Field to capture the Lady Mounties' second state softball title.
Winning pitcher Cheslea Rex struck out 11, and P-O's game-winning run was driven in by Macy Harpster's sacrifice bunt.
