The PIAA has announced the sites and times for its first-round baseball and softball playoff games scheduled for Monday.

A pair of area softball teams will battle while two other squads are part of a scheduled doubleheader. At Penn State's Lady Lion Softball Park, Claysburg-Kimmel will play a Class A game against the as-yet-to-be-determined District 5 champion at 2 p.m., followed by a Class AA matchup pitting Philipsburg-Osceola against South Allegheny.

Meanwhile, at Bedford Area High School's sports complex at 4:30, District 5 Class AA champion Chestnut Ridge is slated to tangle with District 6 runner-up Central Cambria.
