Because of the wet conditions and the threat of more inclement weather in the forecast, District 5 officials have decided to push back their track and field championship meet from this afternoon to Friday at Northern Bedford County High School's Panther Community Stadium in Loysburg. There is also a time change; the meet will begin at 4:30 p.m. instead of 3.
The District 6 Class AA meet, however, still will be held as scheduld today at Altoona's Mansion Park, beginning at 3:30. The meet originally had been scheduled for Tuesday but was postponed because of the rain.
