Swope’s homer lifts Tussey Mountain over Williamsburg

SAXTON - Winning pitcher T.J. Swope hit a three-run homer with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning as Tussey Mountain defeated Williamsburg, 3-0, in high school baseball on Monday.

Elliot Chamberlain opened the inning with a walk and Jordan DeLuca followed with a single. Swope, who gave up just one hit, struck out 10 and walked no one, homered for the win.

Williamsburg pitchers Trent Lee and Adam Wheland only gave up two hits.
