The Altoona Area High School boys track and field team completed another unbeaten dual meet season with a 133-17 rout of Bald Eagle Area at Mansion Park on Wednesday.
The Mountain Lions won their 97th dual meet in a row and finished the season 6-0. They are 62-0 in Mike Adams' seven seasons as head coach.
Wade Endress led Altoona by winning the 400-, 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs, Tyler Mandley won both hurdles, Ryan Steinbugl took the long jump and pole vault, and DeRon Lee claimed the 200 dash and triple jump.
Next up for the Mountain Lions is the District 6 Class AAA meet, next Thursday at Mansion Park. Altoona has won 15 district titles in a row.
"I think we finally had the opportunity to get a few meets in the last couple of weeks,'' Adams said. "The guys are a little tired right now, but that should help us next week. They're excited to defend our district title.''
The Altoona girls routed Bald Eagle Area, 148-2.
Nikki Kerns won both hurdles and the high jump for the Lady Lions, who ended their regular season at 5-1. Teammates Makenzie Wilt (shot put, discus) and Abby Wagner (long jump, triple jump) each added two wins.

TYRONE - Robert Huff won the 100 dash, 400 dash and 300 hurdles to help the Tyrone boys dominate West Branch, 119-29.
Avery Welsh won the shot put and discus, James Russell won the 800 run and pole vault, and Charles Wilson took the high jump and long jump.
The Tyrone girls fell, 111-36.
