STATE COLLEGE - The Altoona Area High School boys track and field team hiked its record to 5-0 with a 90-60 win over State College on Monday.
The Mountain Lions had double winners in Wade Endress (800 and 1600 runs) and Dreux Stamford (100 and 200 dashes).
Nikki Kerns won the 100 and 300 hurdles along with the high jump for the Altoona girls, but it wasn't enough as State College defeated the Lady Lions, 105-45.

Portage boys third
BERLIN - The Berlin Brothersvalley boys and Windber girls claimed titles in the WestPAC Track and Field Meet.
The Portage boys were third, and the Portage girls finished fourth.
The Portage boys 1,600 relay team of Dean Bimle, Shane Tarachko, Jalen Noel and Dave Adams prevailed in 3:40.0.
Portage's Andrew Blair was second in the high jump (5-8) and third in the triple jump (38-7), Bimle was second in the 400 dash (52.6) and third in the 100 dash (11.6), Jerry Bourban was second in the 300 hurdles (43.2), Paul Husar was third in the 800 (2:12.6), Donnie Watters was third in the 3,200 run, and the Portage 3,200 relay was second (9:04.6).
Portage's Alyssa Bandzuh won the discus with a throw of 87-8.
Also for the Lady Mustangs, Emily Chobany was second in the 400 dash (1:04.9) and 200 dash (27.7) and third in the javlin (98-8), Jess McConnell was second in the shot put (27-7), and Kaitlin Sendzik was second in the pole vault (7-6).
